I`m one of very few professional whistlers in Norway and Scandinavia. My education is psychiatric nurse, but more and more I`m travelling around doing concerts around in Norway. I started whistling when I was six years old, my first performance in the media was at the age of 12. Since that I`ve done many, many performances in Radio- and TV-stations in Norway. Done concerts with one of the most famous singer in Norway, Jahn Teigen, in Oslo and different places around in southern part of Norway, 12 times 2000 and 2001. He indirectly helped me to be invited to Norsk Hostfest in Minot in North-Dakota October 2002, where I whistled for about 20 000 people. Was also interviewed in three different TV-stations.

In Norway whistling is a lost art of music, like it seems to be in many different countries. The respond I`ve got so far in USA is great, among people who work in Radio- and TV-stations, and famous musicans in Nashville, where I in November 2003 made my third CD-album; gospel/country with some of the best country-musicans in that  region, or whole USA…

Whistling is more seldom when it`s been done in a professional way. Many places around in Norway and US I`ve met many people who  have encouraged me to go on practicing  whistling, because they  say  it`s   a fine  art of entertainment. Specially on my summertournee 2003 in Northern-Norway; Lofoten and Vesteraalen.I was attending Norsk Hostfest in Minot, North-Dakota October 2002, where I whistled for about 20 000 peoples the five days I was there. 12 th. April 2003 I performed at Garrison Keillors ” A Prairie Home Companion”, a radioshow that is broadcast all over the nation through the National Public Radio. I`m asked to come back to perform at the same radioshow later this year.
Many emails from all over US told me that  people enjoyed my whistling. I also sold many CD`s.
